Collective Worship
We aim to provide a variety of worship experiences for the children. Our current schedule is as follows:
Monday
Key Stage 1: Class Collective Worship led by class teacher.
Key Stage 2: Worship led by the Headteacher or Deputy Head (or a member of SLT).
Tuesday
Key Stage 1: Worship led by the Headteacher or Deputy Head (or a member of SLT).
Key Stage 2: Class Collective Worship led by class teacher.
Wednesday
Whole school worship led by Peter, our local Vicar or Singing Worship
Thursday
Individual class collective worship, led by the Class Teacher. These assemblies follow the same theme, but content is differentiated appropriately. Picture News is used throughout the school to enhance children's understanding of worldwide events and topics. This develops our PSHE, SMSC and British Values teaching and supports our school ethos where everyone experiences the joy of learning.
Friday
Whole school values celebration and singing, with prayer/reflection time linked to the particular value, led by Head, Deputy, SLT and Mrs Hughes and/or Mrs Davison.
